Arrival Mingle
Who: Everyone.
What: The Chosen return or arrival in the City.
When: July 1st.
Where: The Districts of the City.
Anything Else? Feel free to make your own arrivals, or throw an arrival starter here! The party is open to all. As a reminder, language barriers are not an issue in the Tower.
The City hadn't changed at all in its time without the chosen. If anything, The City seemed a little dusty. The Chosen would find themselves waking in their assigned homes. Even if they were returning and had other homes. They would wake in their chosen home. For the most part, anyway, a few chosen had special ways of arriving.
The assigned housing varied depending on the district they were assigned according to their sin. However, everyone had a box, a welcome package awaiting them upon waking. Inside the box was an extra invitation inviting them to the tower if they so decided to come visit upon arrival.
The city was once again bustling with life. Cars, demons, and the people of the City moving as if time had never stopped. Business as usual for the returning Chosen.
The Tower
While it was not Aiden's district, he had talked the Duchess into opening up the ballroom, and Skiffell to provide food, that just didn't seem to end. The grand ballroom was filled with many delectable dishes, and a small band of demons playing big band music in the corner.
The doors were propped open with the music drifting out to help lull the chosen who decided to attend. A handwritten poster board outside the open doors displaying 'Welcome Chosen!' with about 10 smiley faces drawn on it. While normally parties at the tower demanded fancy dress, Aiden throwing a party meant that rule would not be abided. He didn't dig out the fancy threads for anyone. This was a different kind of party, put together by the lord of Leisurebrook.
While Aiden didn't plan to reveal himself as a magistrate, he did love to mingle with people and hear their stories. So he was there. He was napping at a round table off in a corner, his messy brown hair spilled over his crossed arms as he napped as if he didn't have a care in the world.

The Saiyan nodded “I got placed in wrath. The Patinuia.” Though it isn’t surprising considering my various sins as a Saiyan.

She was teasing, she swears.

Bardock shrugs “greedy in food? Well I do eat a army’s portion.”

Devi wasn't making light of it, but some things were easier to come at sideways.
"So you should eat your fill and clear as many tables as you want. Store up some energy. And.. I hope you don't take this the wrong way but I'm lookin' forward to you wanting to burn off some of that energy on a real level, and not the paltry offerings found at the coliseum."
no subject
But Devi got a grunt and even a smirk from the Saiyan. “You are saying there’s nothing good for me to fight in that coliseum that reaches my level? If it comes around to fighting, if you can fight with me or spar, I’m excited. I don’t want a excuse to hold back.”
no subject
"Well. I'd like to see what you're capable of first. Coliseum is a good ground for that. Especially with whomever we have here - good test of the skill She's collected this go around. You do well there, I'll consider takin' you on in a match."
no subject
The Saiyan lightly smirks at Devi and nods, cracking his knuckles and cracking his neck muscles.
"Hm, alright. I'll take your offer on that." The Saiyan was a little cocky, not as much as Prince Vegeta, but he liked surprise fights.
"Plan to watch as I take on some little fry in the Coliseum?"
no subject
"Oh, I wouldn't miss it. A preview of what you can do? Please. I'd pay top dollar to see." She might not be Saiyan, but she had certainly adopted the attitude.
"I can't show off without knowin' what you can handle, after all." She didn't have long hair but if she did, it would have been flipped over her shoulder just then.
no subject
The Saiyan looked at Devi with a raised eyebrow. "Are you sure you aren't a Saiyan? Because I'm pretty sure you act just like a old crew member of mine."
He swore in another life, she could of been one.
The Saiyan looked over at her "Meet you at the Colosseum then. Wouldn't want to bust up the party here by purely showing off."
no subject
In another life, she absolutely could have and she would have kept up without any issue.
"Mm, meet you there. Few days maybe? I can give you a call. It's bad optics to break up a party, unless you're goin' against the Man."
