Where Around the city (if anyone wants to stop Alex) then Peter's arcade to see if Peter is there

Alex had found where he was supposed to be living. After last time it was... about the same and he was okay with that. He did miss the cat he'd had there, but he guessed if he was there for a while there would be plenty of time to pick up a stray if one needed a home again. Then he could go back to spoiling a cat. That said he decided to venture out see what other familiar places there were in the city.

He found the record shop where he'd been working last time. But then he'd spoken to Steve who needed a manager for the place he owned and well, Alex liked cooking so it wouldn't be a bad thing for him to work there. Something different. He guessed some things should change but then...

His feet kept him walking there was one place he did wonder if it would still be there. The arcade Peter had run before. Then if the arcade was there would Peter be there too. Another familiar face to this place at least. He started walking.

Keeping going until he stopped outside the familiar facade of Peter's arcade. So it was there. He then hoped Peter would be as well as he peered in to see.

Erik has seen him briefly a couple of times now. When he sees him coming towards him on the street, he pauses instead of turning the corner so he can approach.

"Settling in?"

"Missing the cat." Because he was. He did smile at Erik. he was glad to see a familiar face, from the city and before.

"What about you?"

"I've taken over at the police station. Need a job?" Erik asks.

[actiii_scenei]

"Actually just found one, but thanks though. If I need a change at some point I'll let you know." He now knows who to speak to if things ever go that far wrong for him. But he would have done anyway. He does think of Erik as a good friend.

There's a light on inside the building, which is a clue that the owner is there somewhere. This fact is confirmed when Peter suddenly appears from some unknown location on the other side of the door. As happens when the speedster notices something.

He opens the door and holds it out for Alex. "Hey. Come on in."

Alex is glad to see the light. The clue that someone is there. It's even better when Peter appears. Unfazed by his sudden appearance. It wouldn't be Peter if he hadn't.

"Hey." He smiled. "Thanks. I'm glad to see you and at the same time not at all because you're here like I am." He's being nice and he likes Pete.

"Eh." He shrugs. "It could be worse." He doesn't know that, not really, but he's looking at a positive here. "At least I know some people here."

"Famous last words there." He laughs. "Same, glad to see you still have this place though, it would be odd if someone else was running it. Wouldn't be right." Alex had grown used to this being Peter's arcade and where he was highly likely to find him.

"Yeah, I probably shouldn't have said that." He remembers being here last time, after all, and how it had ended for some like Erik and Wanda. "Guess I'll just have to spend my time at the arcade."
